ACTION CEREBRAL PALSY - WINSTON CHURCHILL MEMORIAL TRUST AWARD
Amanda Richardson MBE and Caroline O'Shea, from the charity Action Cerebral Palsy, are travelling Australia to learn more about best practice, how the country became a leader in cerebral palsy provision, and how the UK could learn from Australia's successful introduction of a cerebral palsy register. Their research will culminate in a report, to be launched in the Palace of Westminster in January 2019.
Amanda Richardson MBE was awarded the Winston Churchill Memorial Trust Fellowship in 2018. The Fellowship is awarded to those “inspiring individuals who possess the passion and commitment to make a real difference”.
This blog will track Amanda and Caroline's progress as they tour the Australia, write the report and disseminate their findings. It will be updated regularly.
